Botswana Again: Kasane Ferry Crossing & Chobe National Park

Entered Botswana again via the Kazungula ferry - I was amazed how Rhino Tours' local operators have coordinated well and how fast the border crossings were made.  Vehicle, speedboat, then vehicle... The Kazungula crossing is also the world's shortest borders - 800m of common border across water between Zambia and Botswana.  In this small area is where four nations meet: Zambia, Botswana, Namibia and Zimbabwe.  The Kazungula ferry was briefly the subject of a dispute between South Africa and Botswana in 1970s, when the former claimed that Botswana and Zambia had no common border, thus threatening Botswana's lifeline to the world (at a time when Botswana was surrounded by then Apartheid South Africa and its allies, i.e., SA, SA-controlled South West Africa/Namibia and Rhodesia).
