1.                  Food, Food, Food!  (Maxwell & Newton hawker centres)

2.                  Exotic festivals (Thaipusam) and traditional rituals (Taoist spirit mediums)

3.                  Asian Civilisation Museum Empress Place branch

4.                  Little India (most exotic area in Singapore)

5.                  Views from the Esplanade rooftop & the National Arts Library

6.                  Architecture & food in Joo Chiat/Geylang area

7.                  Chinatown (food all year round & the Chinese New Year bazaar)

8.                  Lizards of Sungei Buloh

9.                  View from Merlion & One Fullerton

10.              Zoo & Night Safari

1. Food and Beer. Anytime, Anywhere, High Quality and Cheap. Favourite makan area is Joo Chiat/ Katong.
2. Colonial and progressive Architecture particularly with adaptive conservation. Favourite examples Far East Sq, Lotus at Joo Chiat, Bukit Pasoh.
3. Home in the sky "SIM City" living of HDB estates. Favourite HDB estate is Toa Payoh. Have to visit URA Gallery to get the full impact of how extensive is this central planning.
4. Little India. Authentic feel to an ethnic district.
5. Piece of nature: Bukit Timah hill. Highest point, easy access, good spectrum of floral and not overdone as a tourist attraction.
6. Cycling round island. Join the big boys and big boys wannabe on the Sunday morning trail covering either the North side or the East side. http://www.cycleworx.com/group_rides.htm
7. Ng Eng Teng Gallery at NUS Cultural Centre http://www.nus.edu.sg/museums/exhibitions_net.htm
quirky oversized scultures of a true blue singaporean artist.
8. Both Asian Civilisation Museum at Empress Place and Armenian St. Well organised and good coverage.
9. Zouk club and Mohammed Sultan Road for clubbing and meeting up with friends
10. River Walk from Esplanade to Fort Canning Hill.. the ideal date route
