Some people collect stamps. Others accumulate wealth or/and girlfriends. I collect countries, and the Caribbean, with almost 30 mainly postage-stamp size island states, is perfect for the country collector.
It now looks like a Eastern Caribbean stint in Project Odyssey 2 is going to materialise... I have January free between the Indian and African journeys, and thinking of squeezing 3 weeks island hopping/country-collecting into it.
Tentative plan is to fly to New York JFK, then connect to Georgetown, Guyana. From there, I will go on to Suriname, French Guiana, Martinique, Guadeloupe, Dominica, St Lucia, Barbados, St Vincent, Grenada and Trinidad & Tobago. 11 countries/entities in 3 weeks! Still in a flux... planning...
