Now in the city of Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, India. Famous for its fortress which run by its Maharaja, or Great King, who only merged his kingdom with India in 1948. This afternoon, I went on a short camel safari into the Great Thar Desert about 50km from the border with Pakistan, to watch sunrise over the sand dunes. Tomorrow, I shall move on to the city of Bikaner, also another former princely state famous for its fortress.
