Kohima, Nagaland - Sights, Miss Nagaland 2007 & Nationalism

Many Nagas don't see themselves as Indians.  On the road to a major tourist attraction, there is a huge monument devoted to those who died fighting the Indians, and on it, it emphaised that Nagas are not Indians.
