Beautiful Yazd

Yazd is one of the most beautiful desert oasis towns I have ever visited. Here, there are quite a number of magnificent mosques with the distinctive Persian style gateways with the most intricate geometric patterns allowed by Islam.

Having a good time in Iran. Iranians are very friendly and hospitable. Strangers have offered to bring me around. Many Iranians cannot speak English well but they try their best to make all foreigners feel welcoming. No wonder many travellers I know love Iran.

Iranian girls, who are among the most educated in the Middle East, are very daring. Many have approached me to talk on the streets. They seem to speak better English and are more confident about themselves than girls from the Arab countries who face fewer legal hurdles but are less educated.
