Together with a young French photo-journalist, I went to the notorious Shatilla refugee camp today. This was where thousands of Palestinian refugees were massacred by Christian right-wing militiamen in 1982. It was quite an adventure during which we took pictures of political posters and signboards. We also wandered into places where we weren't supposed to be and Palestinian and Lebanese militiamen of different groups turned us back. Quite scary at times... here are some of the photos.
