Bagan - One of Southeast Asia's most spectacular ancient cities (19 Dec 08)

From Yangon, we flew to Bagan, capital of the first Burmese Empire.  At its height about 1000 years ago, its monumental temples stretched as far as the horizon... certainly the most spectacular group of monuments in Southeast Asia.
