British dependency. Insurance capital of the world. Not a non-value added dodgy offshore centre. The capital, Hamilton, is full of respectable looking law firms, accounting firms, insurance houses, etc. Many expensive restaurants and fine bars. The islands have a nice temperate climate and soft sandy beaches. I was impressed.
