The internationalisation of the SG uni classrooms

Serbia, Norway, Sweden, Germany, Italy, Japan, Vietnam, China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, UK, USA...nationalities of my students...
 
It's an indication of how diversified the Singapore classroom has become.  When I was in uni in the early 90's, there were only Singaporeans and Malaysians.  Now, there are SG-Govt-Scholarship holders everywhere - typically from China, India and Vietnam, and occasionally from even more unusual countries. 
 
There are also many people on exchange which accounts for most of the European nationalities above - it does look like most of them would take finance classes here.  It also represents the coming of age of our universities...it does not, however, mean that we would produce Nobel Prize Winners...but that would be a seperate set of discussions...
