Very difficult to decide but for sake of argument:
-Ubud, Bali (favourite spot on the planet so far is Casa Luna restaurant, particularly on a Saturday night when they have a resident sitar player)
-Reach Falls, Portland, Jamaica
-Byron Bay, NSW, Australia
-Darjeeling, West Bengal, India
-Kardhamili, Greece
-Vijayangar, Karnataka, India
-Orvieto, Umbria, Italy
-Siena, Tuscany, Italy Or Sardinia
-West Cork, Ireland
-Hotel Tresanton, St Mawes, Cornwall, UK
One extra restuarant for luck:
- Beach Wadiya, Colombo, Sri Lanka
+ I liked Singapore a lot more than I expected and the laksas were magical!

From Heredge, MarianneH:

I'm cheating with the last 3, but its so hard to choose. France has to be my favourite though. Apart from your last 2, which I haven't been to, I agree with your choices as top places too. Spain beats Italy as much because I can only understand a bit of Italian but can at least speak some Spanish (to be remedied in a week or so).

France
Cuba
Nepal
Brazil
Burma
Mongolia
Spain
Central Asia
Middle East
North Africa

Marianne

I would never actually rank them individually, because the features are often simply not comparable, but here are my potential 10 based on the subjective experiences I had there (destined to change in future!) My main criteria: nature, culture, friendly people and a touch of something unusual - the latter very subjective
(I found at least 3 of these 4 strongly represented in each of these countries in my list)

Malawi
(rural) Tanzania
Nepal
Guyana
Turkey
Georgia
Syria
Norway
Mexico
Bolivia (you should try this one again, Wee Cheng)
