Just arrived in French island region of Martinique. This is also officially part of France Metro, and uses the Euro too. Everything very expensive. This island is a lot more cosmopolitan and busy than French Guiana, which is sparsely populated. Lots of tourists from cruise ships. Sunny weather. Will stay 2 nights here, then fly to another French territory, Guadeloupe. Time is 12hrs behind Singapore.
