Temple of General Li Guangqian (李光前将军庙)

This is a temple built to commemorate Colonel Li Guangqian who died fighting the Communist landing in Kinmen during the Battle of Kulingtou in 1947.  AFter his death, he was proclaimed a general and later miracles were attributed to him.  Accordingly the local villages treat him as a protector saint and a temple was built to worship him.  At the altar, there was a statue of him wearing a Kuomintang military uniform sitting beside the statue of Guan Gong, the Chinese God of War,
