WeeCheng, the apprentice-chef in Merida

We checked into Luna Hotel, had some rest and then walked around the city a bit. The usual churches and Plaza Bolivar. It was Sunday and most shops were shut. It was also rainy. Hence, Alvin and Jayson were not too impressed. We had dinner at a pizza restaurant where the bored chef got me to be the “apprentice chef” and got Jayson to film me making a full pizza, placed it into the oven and then getting it out to be cut. It was fun but I certainly messed up the pizza a bit and it was actually served to a paying customer, who did not seemed too pleased to be guinea pig to an amateur pizza chef!

Obviously there is a cultural difference with some parts of the world where professionalism is prized over fun.
