Whereas the British Museum is the treasure trove of archaeological finds, Victoria and Albert is a world class exhibition of design and anthropology. I strolled along its corridors and great halls, admiring, among other things, the fine details of Greek and neoclassical sculptures, Chinese court costumes, Japanese samurai masks, Middle Eastern avant garde and 19th century European stained glass.
